2021 Mount Rozier Reserve "Wild Peacock" Chardonnay

Our 2021 Mount Rozier Reserve “Wild Peacock” Chardonnay exudes confidence with a nose brimming with ripe citrus, yellow apple, and punchy stone fruit. This wine is creamy and full of a sweet, tingling sensation on the palate. The finish is crisp and balanced, accentuating the medium-body character of this Chard. Hailing from the Western Cape, the grapes of this 2021 Chardonnay were harvested in the early mornings from 3 different blocks to maximize freshness and locked-in aromatics. Grapes were not de-stemmed, and bunches were lightly pressed for optimum juice quality. After fermentation, tanks maintained contact with the lees for four months to ensure a pronounced fruit character.
